Joel Gragg is a Singer-Songwriter, Producer, and Guitarist. His music incorporates elements of Folk, Rock, Blues, Country, and Soul in a genre-melting style that is always evolving. An Indiana native, Gragg has shared the stage with Malcomb Holcombe, Over the Rhine, and members of John Mellencamp’s band.
After bouncing around Nashville, Gragg spent several years working on the stage and in studios as an engineer, producer, and sideman. Gragg put out his first solo debut "When the Dust Settles"in 2008. In between that time, Gragg moved back to the Mid-west, where he continues working as a producer and songwriter. In 2017 he released "The Miles Between", which speaks to the aspects of beauty and pain found in both our relationships and ourselves. Gragg is currently working on his newest project "Promise of Light", set to be released later this year.
Gragg's songwriting is often described as coming from the lyrical depth of an old soul, who tells the story in an honest and unfiltered light. There is a kind of comfort found when an artist strives to share their craft in such a manner, and in this regard, Gragg provides a unique potency all his own.
