The longing for simplicity in a complex world: this is the heart behind Josh Waddell’s songwriting and his soulful, folky sound. Josh desires to share stories of fear, love, rejection, and ultimately hope in an oftentimes confusing world. Growing up in North Alabama and transplanting to Memphis, Waddell has always stuck close to his soul and rock roots; his songs emphasize place and the importance of finding home. He hopes listeners find his songs relatable and a motivator to live inspired lives. Josh releases his debut EP Something Good in January 2018.
