Formed in New Orleans, LA in 2014, NUTRIO is an acoustic trio dedicated to the performance of original, fresh compositions that push the boundaries of jazz today. Featuring tenor saxophone and clarinet/bass clarinet, upright bass and drums, their music is modern and acoustic, exploring jazz and folk and songwriting from all over the world. Also improvisational, it takes cues from the jazz avant-garde.
