Pete Ayres is returning to his hometown to kick off his fall tour with his NYC quartet. His band covers a wide range of styles, from jazz and soul to 90s hits, with creative arrangements on jazz standards as well as original compositions. Pete deeply connects with his audiences, creating a uniquely intimate atmosphere while delivering an unforgettable, energizing performance. Ayres’ latest single release is a cover of the 90’s pop hit “Hand in My Pocket” which features Ayres on piano and vocals, Nathan Ellman-bell on drums and Marty Kenney on Bass. This tour will be promoting his debut trio EP which is set to release this fall.

Pete Ayres is an acclaimed singer and songwriter and has performed at major music venues and festivals across the country including Birdland Jazz Club, Blue Note, Brooklyn Bowl, Jazz on the lawn festival (ATL) and Point Fest (STL) alongside pop artists like Gavin DeGraw, Mat Kearney and Plain White T’s. He has also performed with The Young New Yorkers’ Chorus on the popular NPR show “Radiolab” and at one of the most renowned venues in the world, Carnegie Hall.
